Hotel Peregrinus is in a quiet sidestreet of the downtown area of Budapest,
it is close to the Danube and to the "walking street" region.

Professor's House of the Technical University of Budapest

The Professor's House is the guest house of the Technical University,
situated on the Buda side near the Petöfi Bridge. It is at walking distance
(~5-10 min) from the Physics Department of the Eötvös University where the School
will take place
If you arrive by plane (most of the foreign participants will do so), please
follow the instructions below:

The Airport Authority
(LRI) runs a minibus service to any address in the city for 1500
forints ~ $6. The service is well advertised, you will not miss it.
You should approach the minibus desk and show the address of your destination.
It takes ~15 minutes for the appropriate bus to arrive, and you will be called
to board it.
When heading for the airport on your return trip, you can call the minibus
(Tel: 296-8555, Fax: 296-8993) and they will
pick you up from your address in the city.

At your hotel, an envelope with your name will be waiting for you. It will
contain the detailed instructions of how to go from your hotel to the conference site.
There will also be guides on the first day (Sunday, July 2) of the School both at
Hotel Peregrinus and at the Professor's House. They will leave from the reception
area of the buildings at 8:15 (Peregrinus) and at 8:30 (Professor's House).
Registration, opening and closing of the School and the Workshop
Registration will take place at the lecture room from 8:15 to 16:30 on July 2 and from 8:45 to 14:30
on the following day. The registration fee is to be paid in Hungarian Forint (HFt),
in cash and in person (for exchanging money see General Informations).
